Robert Lewandowski has confirmed he's happy in Barcelona and would treasure every plan to wear the number 9 jersey next season and continue his career with the Catalan giant.
“For me, everything is clear, and I know where I will be next season, and it will stay that way. I have said this many times before, and nothing has changed here,” he told Meczyki.
“One day someone writes one thing, and the next day it is completely the opposite. There is no point in following it. I don’t read it."
Lewandowski was also quizzed on the possibility of Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid in the summer and how he would feel about the PSG superstar's presence in La Liga.
"There's no 'here we go' for the Mbappe news yet, so it's hard for me to comment about that story."
He continued, "Knowing Kylian, Speaking to him in the past, I know that playing against him in La Liga will be a cool thing."
Lewandowski emerged as the best player for the month of February in La Liga, and so far, he has bagged 12 goals this season for the Blaugranes.
Remember that the Polish striker joined Barcelona in the 2022–23 season, and in that same season, he won the Pichichi award, which is Spain's equivalent of the Golden Boot, for scoring 23 goals.
Most importantly, those 23 goals were enough for Barca to seal their 27th La Liga title in the club's history after three years of being dwarfed by Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
