The GOAT of football agents Jorge Mendes is reportedly "pushing hard" to ensure Barcelona hands out another season-long loan deal to his client, Joao Felix.
There were rumors that Felix was one of several players the outgoing manager Xavi was happy to let go this summer, but with a new gaffer in town, it remain to see if Hansi Flick is a fan.
Moreover, Diario Sport are reporting that Joan Laporta and Deco still want Felix as they think the Atletico Madrid loanee is “a market opportunity and a long-term asset.”
With the president and the sport director of Barça haven shown confident in Felix, we await Hansi Flick's decision.
The manager will have a big influence on whether the Portuguese midfielder stays or not and plays another season at Barcelona.
Then again, the chances of Felix staying beyond the summer seems very high. Reason is that he has one of the most influential football agents in the world by his side.
Also, Felix's options do appear limited as Atletico Madrid have shown to be uninterested in his services anymore and the player doesn't look washed up to even think of leaving Europe.
The Portugal international played 44 times total for Barca this season, scoring 10 goals and contributing six assists to the cause.
