Barca have confirmed their pre-season tour will be in the United States again and will face Real Madrid, Manchester City, and AC Milan.
The Catalan giant will depart Barcelona on July 28 to be ready for their first game on July 30 against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, which holds about 60,219 spectators.
This is the first time Barça will be stopping in Florida City, despite visiting the United States for the third summer in a row, and it's also the first time they'll be clashing against the side coached by former FC Barcelona man Pep Guardiola in North America.
The last time both teams played against each other was for a charity fundraiser for ALS research organized by Juan Carlos Unzué on August 24, 2022, at Spotify Camp Nou.
Fourth Clásico in the United States
FC Barcelona's second game of the preseason will be against Real Madrid. The match is scheduled for August 3, and the venue is the 82,500-capacity Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. Metlife is the home of the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets and the venue for the 2026 World Cup Final.
FC Barcelona final game of the preseason tour is against AC Milan on August 6 in Baltimore, another city that the team has never visited.
Although both teams faced each other last summer, but it was at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and it ended 1-0 in Barca's favor.
This year's preseason match between the Catalan team and the Rossoneri will hold at the 71,000-capacity M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.
After that, the team will fly back to Catalunya to finish preparations for the new season.
By then, Barca would've employed a new manager for the new campaign, of course. Xavi Hernandez already announced his intention to step down at the end of the season, and recently, the club's sporting director, Deco, revealed that Xavi's decision to leave is irreversible.
Barcelona may also be without some key players for the preseason tour, as there is a busy summer of international football to look forward to.
Euro 2024 and the Paris Olympics are both set to take place in 2024, which could see some Barcelona players miss the US tour depending on their international commitments.
